Medical Records Clerk 

Full Time
Reports to: Business Office Manager

Under minimal supervision, the Medical Records Representative is responsible to accurately enter chart data into the IT system, organize clinical forms in proper order in the medical record, assist with reviewing each record for completeness, responsible for filing charts in terminal digit order, file loose reports, process transcription, monitor correspondence, retrieve medical records, maintains the chart sign out log, scanning and indexing medical records, and answer telephone applicable to medical record requests and for the registration area as needed. Preferred experience would include Medical Records experience as well as certification in either Electronic Health Records or Registered Health Information.

Registered Nurse – Surgery

Full Time - Part Time - PRN
Reports to: Clinical Director

Utilizes the nursing process to provide comprehensive nursing care during the surgical phase of care. Coordinates total patient care in coordination with other health team members, particularly the Center’s team. Functions as a patient advocate utilizing the Patient’s Bill of Rights. Demonstrates professional growth and development by accepting responsibility and accountability for one’s nursing practice. This position will work inside the operating room as a patient advocate, ensuring the operative procedures have the patient's best interest in mind. Work in collaboration with the anesthetist, surgeon, and surgical assistants to create a comfortable and safe environment for the patient. Responsibility for charting the surgical events and keeping an inventory of supplies and equipment used for the procedure. Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast paced environment that requires quick thinking, and remaining calm in a crisis. Excellent clinical skills in an ambulatory environment preferred. Indiana RN license required. CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred. Ability to function independently and strong decision-making skills.

Registered Nurse – Pre-Op/Phase II/PACU

Full Time - Part Time - PRN
Reports to: Charge Nurse

Utilizes the nursing process to provide comprehensive nursing care during the peri-operative phases. Coordinates total patient care in coordination with other health team members, particularly the Center’s team. Functions as a patient advocate utilizing the Patient’s Bill of Rights. Demonstrates professional growth and development by accepting responsibility and accountability for one’s nursing practice. Admission, recovery, and discharge of surgical patients. Excellent clinical skills in an ambulatory environment preferred. Indiana RN license required. CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred. Ability to function independently and strong decision-making skills.

Certified Surgical Technologist

Full Time
Reports to: Clinical Director

Performs a variety of duties in the Center, as a member of the surgical team. Scrubs on all types of cases performed at the Center, including general, GYN, orthopedic, ENT, plastic surgery, urology, laser and local cases. Assists in preparation for cases by “picking cases” and set-up and maintenance of sterile field. May also function as surgeon’s second assistant.
