Allied Physicians Surgery Center (APSC) is following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), ISDH, WHO, and local healthcare agencies on how to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak. This includes proper and frequent hand hygiene, respiratory etiquette and staying home when sick.
All staff are screened every day following CDC guidelines. They are asked if experiencing any symptoms, no matter how minor, to stay home. High touch surfaces are disinfected frequently with approved cleaning chemicals to disinfect against Coronavirus and after each patient is registered. This includes but is not limited to door handles, pens, clipboards, monitoring equipment and all patient areas.
Our staff are screening patients for COVID-19 over the phone and in person based on guidelines from the CDC.
During the Registration process patients will be required to answer the same set of pre-admit questions they previously answered over the phone. Any patient who answers “yes” to any of the questions will be directed to speak with a Management Team Member before proceeding forward with their care.
Allied Physicians Surgery Center has temporarily changed its visitor guidelines for patients receiving care. Due to limited capacity, one adult visitor will be allowed per patient. Two visitors will be allowed for minor patients, one must be a parent/guardian.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation to keep our patients and staff safe.
